SCM was founded by Matthew Pelham in 2007 to build the world’s best Meltblown and Meltblown filter manufacturing equipment.

Mr. Pelham began his career in the Meltblown industry in 1992 as a design engineer for J&M Labs as the Senior Engineer and Project Manager for Meltblown machinery until
1998 when he left J&M to start JENTEX Corporation. Here Mr, Pelham owned & operated a Meltblown Nonwovens Manufacturing business until he sold it in 2006

SCM high speed meltblown production lines are capable of producing melt blown from virtually any thermoplastic, including PP, PE, PBT, nylon, PPS, PLA, PVOH, PVA, PET filters and some recycled
polymers.

Applications for meltblown fabric and cartridge filters produced by SCM Machinery range from face masks, air filters, as well as water purification for beer, wine, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, whole house filtration, clean water technology, and other filtration applications.
